Terms of Service

By accessing or using SpotJoule, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

SpotJoule is an online marketplace that allows homeowners ("Hosts") to list driveways and parking spots, and allows drivers ("Drivers") to find and reserve those spots. SpotJoule is not a party to any rental, parking, or charging agreement between Hosts and Drivers. SpotJoule does not own, operate, inspect, or control any listed space.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use SpotJoule. Hosts must have the legal right to offer the space they list.

Drivers pay through the platform; SpotJoule collects payment and remits payouts to Hosts after deducting applicable platform fees. Cancellation, refund, and dispute policies will be made available in-app and may change over time.

Hosts are responsible for accurately describing their space, ensuring it is safe and legally available for parking and (if offered) EV charging, complying with all applicable laws, HOA/lease rules, zoning, and tax obligations, and maintaining their own insurance.

Drivers must use spaces only as described, follow all posted rules, not exceed booked time, and be responsible for their vehicle and any equipment they bring (including EV charging equipment).

SpotJoule does not provide insurance coverage of any kind. SpotJoule is not responsible or liable for any property damage, theft, vandalism, personal injury, EV charging incidents, or any other loss arising from or related to use of the platform or any booking. Hosts and Drivers are solely responsible for confirming that their own insurance policies cover their participation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpotJoule disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and any liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may not use SpotJoule for unlawful purposes, misrepresent yourself or your space, harass other users, attempt to bypass the platform's payment system, or interfere with the platform's operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or for any reason at our discretion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SpotJoule after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SpotJoule is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
